- The argon gas is transformed to the plasma through passing the high temperature arc and the welding method is to supply the plasma arc heat source with ultra high temperature & high energy density of high heat concentration to the base material. Therefore, the quality is stable because the electrode consumption is small and this is the optimum technology for the automatic welding.
- The best quality arc welding pursuing advantages while eliminating shortcoming of the TIG welding and the CO2 welding.
- As is different from the TIG welding, the high frequency is remained inside the torch so that the damage of the adjacent equipments are prevented.
- As the implemented technology is the one previous to that applied to the YAG laser welding machine, excellent welding quality compared to the equipment cost can be secured.
- The welding speed is 2~3 times of that compared to the TIG welding and is at 70% level of the CO2 welding.
- The gas consumption rate is 25% of that of the TIG welding and is at 80% level of the CO2 welding.
- Improvement machining is not required and excellent quality can be secured from the welding of the galvanized sheet and brass.
